Efteq – the story so far

Efteq has its roots in the development of water demand technology in South Africa. Teqnovo designed, developed and manufactured the first Teqnovo Pre-Payment meters and these have been implemented by a number of clients since 2004.

Teqnovo was also responsible for the subsequent formation of Lesira-Teq which provided the sales and support functions in South Africa. Teqnovo itself concentrated on markets outside South Africa.

Lesira-Teq has now become a separate company and continues to sell and support Intelligent Metering in South Africa. Efteq has emerged from a re-structuring of Teqnovo and Teqnovo Pre-Pay to become the producer of a range of products designed to address a range of requirements in the water demand management arena.
In addition, Efteq offers a number of services and solutions to end-users which will minimise the total cost of providing water demand management technology while maximising the savings in water consumption.

Efteq still retains the core of knowledge built up by Teqnovo over the last 10 years and maintains excellent relationships with Lesira-Teq and other partners throughout Africa and the rest of the world.
